Thank you so much for a wonderful year! We have made it to the final 3 weeks, excited to celebrate the end of the year, but sad to see our precious ones move to the next grade level. Please see the weekly agenda for grade level awards programs, Fun-in-the-Sun events, and other end of year activities. Thank you for all of your help and support this year... we are truly blessed to be part of a wonderful community.

As part of our commitment to keep parents informed of 1:X notifications, LISD would like to make parents aware that YouTube’s app rating has recently changed from a 4+ to 17+ (an age-appropriate level rating system). Moving from a 4+ to a 17+ rating indicates that inappropriate content may be accessed on the YouTube app. Due to this change, LISD encourage parents to delete this app from their child’s district-issued iPad.
Parents Invited to Participate in District “Parent University” Sessions
During a called Special Board Meeting on April 27, the Lewisville ISD (LISD) Board of Trustees unanimously approved naming LISD current Interim Superintendent and Chief Operations Officer Dr. Kevin Rogers as the lone finalist for LISD’s Superintendent to serve the district’s nearly 53,000 students and more than 6,500 staff members.
As spring approaches, we want to take time to remind our parents to visit with your children about safety. The weather is warming up and many students walk or ride their bikes to school during this time of the year. Please take this opportunity to remind your child(ren) to be aware of their surroundings and encourage them to travel in groups to ensure safety from those they may not know. Additionally, remind them to report anything that causes them concern to a trusted adult. Student safety is a top priority in Lewisville ISD and together, we will keep our children safe.
Lewisville ISD's Skyward Family Access will be interrupted due to the host provider performing firewall maintenance. The service is scheduled to begin Saturday, April 11 at 10 p.m. and may go until 6 a.m. Sunday, April 12.
